Our Mission

We carefully curate high quality denim for resale, doing our part to reduce landfill waste in the US and beyond, one pair of jeans at a time.

The fashion industry is responsible for significant water, energy, carbon, and landfill waste. Over 85% of clothing becomes waste, which includes the unpurchased clothing donated to thrift stores. More than 17 million tons of textiles are dumped into US landfills each year. These astonishing numbers are just fractions of the true impact fast fashion and discarded garments have on the environment.

Our mission is to reduce wastefulness and pollution one pair of jeans at a time. We are huge supporters of thrifting, reuse, upcycling, and recycling. Each garment purchased and worn by our customers, reduces the waste created by dumping. It also slows down the manufacturing of fast fashion as a result of reduced demand. We locate, clean, and curate preloved, high quality denim predominantly made of cotton fibers. Cotton is low maintenance, naturally sustainable, and durable. When properly cared for, cotton garments will last for many years. Please see our Denim Care page for more information on caring for your denim.

Together, we can make a difference by prolonging the life of preloved clothing.
